A successful motivator, public speaker, facilitator, coach, manager and experienced teacher she has a relaxed yet intuitive approach and connects with all. Kate is readily called upon to emcee events at local sporting functions, community trivia nights, weddings and drew upon all of her experiences when she was a judge in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards.
Kate Kroeger
In 2016, Kate entered the Australia Futures, ‘My Big Ideas’ competition which was a nationwide ideas competition piloted in Geelong. She submitted an idea for a local school holiday program linking local youth and businesses intended to create pathways, connections and to build confidence and communication skills. She was shortlisted to the top 10 out of 70 big ideas and was invited to pitch her idea at The Geelong Town Hall to an audience of local business people. The response was extremely positive and this lead to the creation of, The Confidence Company.
Kate has over 10 years’ experience as a teacher, over 10 years’ experience as a public speaking coach and facilitator and over 8 years as a Manager and Director.
Since her days as a university student Kate has emceed numerous events from league netball presentation evenings to the Humans in Geelong Expo. Kate is a Victorian Institute of Teaching registered teacher and also holds a Leading Managers Australia Certificate. From her experience as a teacher in the primary, secondary and tertiary sector along with her experience of coaching zoo keepers and safari guides at Werribee Zoo with public speaking and more recently upskilling paramedics and the general community as the Manager of Community Education at Ambulance Victoria, Kate founded a local business, The Confidence Company. She can connect with any age group, assists people to create a connection with themselves therefore building self-confidence and is a little different to most as she loves public speaking and job interviews! Most of all she loves to help others to realise their value and potential.
The Confidence Company offers confidence coaching. Specialising in social skills, job interview preparation and assisting individuals to connect within teams. From curriculum aligned school sessions to team building sessions for corporates, STAR job interview coaching for Paramedics and jobseekers and 1:1 coaching sessions
